 A retreat for all seasons, Homeward House offers something for everyone.  Situated on 1.5 acres, under a canopy of century old oak and walnut trees, you can find yourself laying in one of the hammocks while the children can run and play in the massive yard. A large fire-pit is great for cookouts or telling ghost stories while the owls can be heard in the trees above you.

Remnants of the agricultural way of life can be seen in the Granary,  possibly one of a few granaries remaining in Ontario, the unique architectural structure stands as a testament to Pelee Island’s farming Past.

Homeward House is a fully renovated turn of the century farmhouse that will inspire rest, relaxation and tranquility for you and your guests. The two story, 3 bedroom farmhouse sleeps 10 comfortably. For those of you who love to cook, the huge country kitchen with an island, is fully equipped for your needs and will satisfy any weekend chef! The large deck is available for sunbathing, reading or dancing under the stars!  Homeward House is only 500 meters away from Scudder Bay beach where the water is clean and calm yet far enough away for small children to be safe.  In addition to this wonderful sand beach is great fishing at the pier or boat watching as huge iron ore freighters or elegant sailboats pass by. Sometimes even a Tall Ship has been glimpsed emerging from the mist of a quiet evening. As you watch some the most beautiful sunsets in the world, you will be only of a chosen few who can see this wonder of nature.
