Rooms of Homeward House

All the rooms in Homeward House have been tastefully decorated to reflect the uniqueness of Pelee Island. Homeward House’s country home style design incorporates a blend of antiques, wrought iron and themed rooms intended for you to rest and relax. 

The Vin Villa Room~

The Vin Villa Room overlooks the century old granary and oak trees that surround the property. With a very comfortable queen size bed, 2 full walk in closets, and antique writing desk, this romantic room reflect the vintage history of Pelee Island wines with its rich burgundy and brown themes. Sleeps: 2

The InnKeeper’s Room~ This room is the most romantic room of Homeward House with a huge queen size bed, antique dresser  and huge windows that let the light in to wake you gently from a restful sleep. A white wrought iron single day bed is also included in this wonderful room. Perfect for families too. Sleeps: 3

The Pirate Room~

For the adventurer and swashbuckler in all of us, this room inspires children and adults alike to imagine what the first explorers thought of when they discovered Pelee Island. With a set of bunk beds and a queen size bed, this room is designed in a sailor theme with warm pine furniture and red, white and blue accents. Sleeps: 4

**Note: Our water is tested on regular basis and meets government requirements, we also offer bottled water from the water cooler or you can bring your own.




P1050450The Reflection/Sitting Room. This room is wonderfully bright with French doors that overlook the large front lawn. The full bath is just off  this room and the antique, wrought iron day bed is for reading or perfect for relaxing. Sleeps: 1

French doors lead to the large wood deck with a patio set. Perfect for an afternoon enjoying the fruits of Pelee Island or coffee in the morning!



                                                                   Living Room~With a big picture window and cozy, comfortable furniture, this room contains a T.V., dvd, vcr, movies, dvds, books and board games to be played at the antique round table.

The silver corn silo to mark Homeward House`s farming legacy. In the distance beyond the field is Scudder Bay. The public beach is about 500 meters away. Clean, safe, and great for children.
